So you have a website and you're looking to figure out a website funnel and how a website funnels work.
Typically when you're using a website and website funnel,there are a couple things that you need to keep top of mind when you're developing one of these funnels.
As always, there's a top there's middle and there's a bottom.
The top is where a majority of your potential contacts or potential sales are going to come through. Those are typically found from various different ads, giveaways, eBooks, and anything else, that can funnel people into getting to your website is usually at the top of the funnel.
Underneath that you have the middle of the funnel, which is typically the foundation of the entire funnel. This is going to be the core parts of your website where either you're going to give away information to keep their eyes on their website, or to constantly have different things on your website to help limit the people that are serious, which also connects you to the amount of people that are going to just use your stuff for the free content. Either way, it's not a bad thing. However, it is something that you need to understand because not having this is going to potentially ruin the most valuable part of the funnel.
The most valuable part of the funnel is the bottom of the funnel. Why is this because that's exactly where all your money comes from? It comes from people sifting through from the top of the funnel all the way down to the bottom of the funnel.
In an ideal situation, your goal is to have the top of the funnel be where everybody is coming in. They are learning about everything you have and you're getting them to click on your website, the foundation is purely going to be creating content and other similar things, that's going to immediately disqualify people that are not serious about purchasing or using your services.
It's not a bad thing that they're not looking to do this. However, they're just not ready to commit a financial number associated with the requirements to work with your business or to get whatever is at the bottom of the funnel.
The bottom of the funnel is following up and constantly keeping top of mind when people are going through your funnel, it may be a sale or it may be making sure they know about you and know what you offer and eventually, enough contacts, whether it's social media, emails, pop ups or anything like that or giveaways is going to immediately help drive your business's sales in the right direction.
The reason why a funnel is so important is because so many businesses waste so much time on trying to qualify or disqualify prospects that may never actually buy.
The beautiful part about a website funnel is it works for you 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so you never have to think about or do any of these things.
Because of this and because it's working 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It allows you as a business owner to be able to take a step back and not have to worry so much about qualifying disqualifying
Then in the core functions of the funnel in the foundation, you're going to keep putting out information that's going to let people know maybe how much your products cost, where you see yourself going, or what benefits they're going to get out of using you, and either why they should buy or why they shouldn't buy, who your ideal clients are. And if they fall into that ideal client profile, or avatar, then all the way at the bottom when they close the deal, or they keep spending more and more time it's following up. It's making sure they're getting more emails, or more touches to eventually convert into a sale. The best part about a quality sale funnel is because there's so much that you can gain all the time. It's working all the time and a lot of these tasks and processes can be automated. So you're not actually working for these leads. They're coming to you.
The other benefit of having these sales comes from a quality sales funnel, which is the people that buy are either eager to buy or very ready to buy. If they don't go through the sales funnel, they're never going to figure out whether or not they're good buying or not. Having a quality website to determine sales funnel is only going to help lead to more loyal customers and along with that lead to more powerful relationships, because the person already knows what to expect from your company, how everything works, all the pricing and everything like that, and in turn is going to make the buying decision either much easier, both good and bad.
Having an effective funnel is probably one of the most important things you can do on your website. And I keep talking about it quite a bit, where education is probably the most powerful thing you could possibly do.
